How many articles were printed on 1975 by Jehovahs Witnesses, and what good are they now?

Since 1975 was written about so much before 1975, if it was such an important date, why did they suddenly stop writing about it after it passed? Were all those articles a waste of time and ink? Are JWs glad they wrote so many articles about 1975? Why don't they write more articles about 1975?
